Attention all coffee lovers!!!
One word all a coffee lover needs to know: EISKAFFEE. Literally translated as, "ice cream & coffee," it is one of my favorite desserts in Germany. The few of us that went the day before to Berlin's Pizza Rossa loved it so much that we took the group back to enjoy ice cream (and the cutest checkered tablecloths)! Always served with a super long spoon, it's perfect for quickly drinking it up or taking your time eating it. Eisschokolade is almost the same, using chocolate instead of coffee for the chocolate lover, and is so good that I have a blog also dedicated solely to it. If you also prefer drinking a beer with your dessert, pairing any light beer infused with one of the assorted syrup flavors is another way you can't go wrong. Ever heard of raspberry or even grapefruit flavored beer? At restaurants, they add these flavored syrups to the beer and mix it very well so that still has the same smooth texture as before.
