The Prasna Brana, or translated as the Powder Tower/Powder Gate, is the iconic gothic city gate built in the 15th century. It was used during the 17th century to store gunpowder, hence today's name for it. All newly coronated kings and queens would pass under the city gate to Prague Castle. It's beautifully darkened with age, and stands apart from the surrounding buildings.
