Hostel Ananas: means Pineapple Hostel. Staying in a hostel is one of the best ways to save money for the budgeting traveler, and my two fellow study abroad program friends and I decided to choose a co-ed, 8 bedroom hostel for our Prague weekend getaway. Hostels are also great hot spots for meeting a variety of people, and the three of us ended up rooming with 4 Scottish boys on their European backpacking senior trip (how cool?!) and one older gentleman who was traveling across Eastern Europe. This hostel was actually situated right in Old Town and in the middle of a mall complex, so it was a great central location and had its own sushi restaurant and program mixers. Overall, a great experience!

Tip: If you are checking out of a hostel, many times they will hold your items in a room, or you can put in a euro (that you receive back) for a locker to hold your items while you explore the city before departing. Great for the overpacker (like myself) who doesn't like to tote all their belongings around.
