Most beautiful cathedral I found in Europe
Within the Prague Palace complex lies The Metropolitan Cathedral of Saints Vitus, Wenceslaus and Adalbert, which is the by the far the beautiful gothic cathedral I saw on my entire trip. The stained glass windows were by far the most colorful that I had seen, and it was massive. Featured in the Roman Catholic cathedral are the tombs of important Bohemian kinds, Holy Roman Emperors, and the 14th century patron saint of the church whose bones are visible through a glass window of he altar where he is buried. Included in the next blog post is what I really wanted to see when I got to Prague Castle: the Silver Tomb of Saint John Nepomuk. Check out these images for some of the most beautiful pictures I took in Prague!
